Curious to see if Lysol weighed in on another epidemic, I came across this ad. Lysol did factor in another epidemic- the 1918 Spanish Influenza epidemic running a series of ads.  The disinfectant was endorsed by the Board of Health

Given Lysol’s history, it’s ironic that Lysol was first out of the gate with a strong warning against following our toxic president’s suggestions of using their product for internal disinfection against the coronavirus. Once upon a time, Lysol actually advertised
