Last night Americans got what they have been starving for.
Hope.
Joy.
A sparkling glass half-full, not the half-empty one served up by Republicans.
It was the group hug we’d been craving.
Optimism was in abundance last night in Chicago, sucking any negativity out of the air.
There was no talk of a nation in decline.
A country that is the joke of the world
No one characterized Americans as losers.
Americans are not losers Mr. Trump. Only under your leadership would that be a reality.
I felt proud to be a Democrat last evening.
Even more importantly, I felt unabashedly proud to be an American.
Last night, I felt America was back baby, better than ever.
What a joyful feeling.

I agree with you wholeheartedly on every point! I haven’t seen this kind of energy and fervor since President Obama was campaigning. I personally haven’t felt as patriotic as I have recently. It’s a great feeling!💙💙💙

I think this has been a feeling so long in coming, and we have been in such a dark place fueled by fear. It feels so good to reclaim the joy and to reclaim the joy of being patriotic.

I agree. For 4 days, I will bask in the unbridled optimism, after that I switch to extreme caution.
