Watch how quickly the Republicans take credit for the improving economy while ignoring the fact that the tea party infused obstructionist policies delayed our recovery several agonizing years.

  2. With these statistics one must look at the broader picture, these new jobs may be more or less part time and near min wage while most won’t have medical coverage. This is the future trend and direction that our youth and unemployed are headed.

  3. You are right that many of these are minimum wage jobs and that is an important issue that needs to be addressed as well as benefits for more workers

  4. Hopefully today’s action by the House to re introduce the 40 hour workweek will help with that. Since the ACA dropped that amount to 30, many full time jobs morphed in to part time ones so it’s a helpful step. 12 Democrats joined all Republicans voting for this measure but Harry Red is unlikely to bring it to a floor vote and President Obama is likely to veto it even if he does.
