We can now say Toodle loo to Marjorie Taylor Greene’s toxic tweets.

Thanks to Twitter, the highly infectious troll who has been contaminating an unusually large number of others with deadly misinformation has been dealt a blow. This tweeting superspreader of COVID lies has finally pushed Twitter to suspend her personal account permanently.

It’s about time.

They Can’t Handle the Truth

Greene, that Georgia peach who is rotten to the core, has polluted the Twittersphere long enough. She has written one hate-filled tweet after another encouraging violence and promoting coo-coo Qanon conspiracies.

But it was her vile,  far-fetched tweets about the virus that captivated legions of anti-vaxxers.  When “Dr.” Greene claimed earlier this year on Twitter that her Crossfit exercise routine would protect her from Covid, it confirmed to her followers that vaccines were for suckers.

And who could forget Greene’s greatest hits when she compared COVID-19 mask requirements and vaccinations to the Holocaust that killed 6 million Jews?

A true history buff, she likened the White House’s campaign to encourage all Americans to get vaccinated against a highly contagious disease to Hitler’s “brownshirts.”

Last May she astutely claimed that Nancy Pelosi’s decision to maintain the mask mandate on the House floor was “exactly the type of abuse” that Nazis inflicted on Jews, an analogy, she insisted, that “any rational Jewish person” would agree with. Likely the same “rational Jews” who were responsible for the wildfires using Jewish space lasers.

How about the time when this patriot of free speech used language reminiscent of the Rwandan Genocide calling her opponents termites, while advocating for the break up of the US a second Civil War?

This was only last week.

Finally, even for Twitter, enough was enough.

Twitter pulled the plug after Greene published a 19-tweet thread on New Year’s day lamenting the status of unvaccinated people as a “subclass” and falsely claiming that “extremely high” numbers of COVID vaccine deaths are being ignored.

She ended with a call to arms: “Before Covid, We were free. After Covid, We are no longer free. The question is will the people break free from covid psychosis before it’s too late.”

But this freedom fighter will not go out quietly. Her followers hungry for her lies and misrepresentations won’t be disappointed.

Her official congressional Twitter account is still active, and there are plenty of other truth-friendly platforms for her unique form of truth-telling.

She came out swinging to Twitter’s suspension on GETTR a conservative social media platform that claims to reject political censorship and “ cancel culture.”

“Twitter is an enemy to America and can’t handle the truth,” Greene wrote. “That’s fine, I’ll show America we don’t need them and it’s time to defeat our enemies.”

And on messaging app Telegram she added that social media platforms “can’t stop the truth from being spread far and wide. Big Tech can’t stop the truth. Communist Democrats can’t stop the truth.”

Her toxic form of truth-telling may have been dealt a small blow for now, but it’s time to stop this superspreader once and for all and permanently remove her from Congress.

Like a pesky insect, it’s time to fly away Marjorie green, just fly away.
