Oops, they did it again.

Following in the footsteps of Iowa, New Hampshire’s Republican voters resoundingly threw their support to a convicted rapist to be the standard bearer of the party of Lincoln.

Oops, they think they’re in love.

This was the chance to right the morally teetering ship to some normalcy. Heck, how about just sanity.

Unless there is some unforeseen miracle, Donald J. Trump for the third consecutive time will be the Republican nominee for the President of the United States of America!

Let that sink in.

The party of Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan, and George H.W. Bush is choosing to nominate the man responsible for the atrocity of the January 6 insurrection. A man found liable for sexual assault, a man boasting of wanting to be a dictator.

Oops, they did it again.

They played with our democracy, got lost in the game.

It can’t be lost on us that the biggest moment of the 2024 GOP primary campaign came, not after Trump did something heroic or said something inspiring but the moment he was indicted. What does that say about a political party when being indicted boosts you in the polls?

The Parties Over

This is not the Green Party, the Libertarians, or some other third-wheel party. This is The Grand Old Party one of the two major political parties.

In truth, todays Republicans are acting like the Know Nothing Party.

They can’t claim ignorance.

They’re not that innocent.

They are delusional.

Making America more dangerous.
