I am delighted to be discussing my collage “Ambassador of Peace-We Are Friends” on Sunday, October 20, 2024 , at The Heckscher Museum of Art in Huntington N.Y as part of their Artists in the Galleries program. The piece is currently on view for their Long Island Biennial 2024 exhibit “The Body Politic.”

The piece asks the viewer to consider what is America’s role in the world?

Today as we are deeply divided as to our place in the world the viewer is invited to understand the historical context of our role and question whether our interventions were always well received and to question our engagements today.
