I can’t seem to recall ever lighting Hanukkah candles on New Year’s Eve but it feels symbolic this year.
In a year shrouded in too much darkness, a year of so many losses, globally, politically, and poignantly, for so many dear friends of beloved mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, husbands and wives, long-time friends and fur babies, it feels overwhelming.
The fear of the unknown looms large as this new year begins.
But I still believe in light and I hope this light can illuminate us all out of our own personal darkness and the ones we share collectively.
And I am as always filled with tremendous gratitude for you and who illuminates my life with levity, compassion, and insights every day.
Wishing you all a Happy New Year filled with love and light. And good health

Your posts are always a ray of light, filled with humor, wisdom, intelligence and sincerity, and you are very appreciated. Tonight we light all 8 candles, and it’s wonderful to see them shine! Wishing you a Happy and Healthy New Year.
