In his Teutonic efforts to “Make America White Again,” Trump is breaking all records to erase any trace of color, bleaching out the Other as though it were a stubborn stain.
I haven’t seen such an imperative for achieving whiteness since those popular mid-century detergent ads when it was every housewife’s dream to achieve the whitest wash possible and make her the envy of her neighborhood.
Take America Back
As part of Trump’s Reclaim America tour, he is marching us all in lockstep back to the 1950s as all federal jobs and civil servant positions will soon be filled with cheery, white men.
Confident men who know which pronoun to use.
RIP DEI
Donald claims his administration is ditching all policies promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion to seek the best and brightest.
Which we all know is code for whitest.
To believe Trump it was all those illegal immigrants pouring out of mental institutes infiltrating our country who were given jobs as air traffic controllers under Biden and responsible for the plane crash in DC.
Turning the Page
And just like that Trump has altered the calendar just as he willfully changed the map.
Say bye bye to Black History Month, MLK Day, and Juneteenth.
There will be no celebrating Pride in June or Women’s History in March.
No observing Holocaust Remembrance Day, or honoring Hispanic Heritage.
But that greatest of American Holidays will remain for all to celebrate.
Christmas.

Envisioning The American Dream 
Historically, oftentimes Canada has followed the United States in its’ actions because we admired them. Sometimes, we preceded the United States. I’m not sure why. Maybe we sway a bit more to the left? I’m sure Canadian Conservatives will disagree. Sorry – not this time. I’m confident Canada will continue to celebrate all of the initiatives mentioned in your article. Shame on your new leader. I refuse to type his name. I only pray that Canada’s future leadership does not follow suit with any of the above and that enough Republicans in the U.S. see the danger in these actions.

We just have to remember, Do Not Obey In Advance. The felonious Trump administration is fire hosing the government with Project 2025 Executive Orders (EO). “Flooding the zone” as Steve Bannon would say.
I heard on a NPR ‘On the Media’ podcast that many of these EO’s are not legal.
So, I guess there’s hope. This flooding the zone is causing anxiety. That’s exactly the effect the Heritage Foundation wants. That’s the foundation that created Project 2025.
