No More Trophies, No More Kings

Will little Donnie’s gilded playroom have enough room for all the “participation” trophies he’s receiving?

All these glittering, dazzling golden trophies confirm what a golden boy he is. Donald can spend hours looking at his reflection in the shiny trophies and see what a very special boy he is.

Brilliant, luminous. The star-studded likes of which the world has never seen.

It seems like it’s always award season at the White House, and Donald needs his own red carpet.

The bogus awards just keep coming.

America First?

The other day, Republicans honored him with a new special award. The “America First Award.”

A made-up award for a man/child who lives in a make-believe world.

Donnie’s favorite playmate, Mikey Johnson, presented the honor at the National Republican Congressional Committee fundraiser. The award, the House Speaker said, was symbolized by a gold statue  “appropriate for the new golden era in America.”

Well, Mikey, the only thing golden about this Golden Age are the gilded embellishments, appliques, doodads, and trophies that clutter the White House. And the gold gelt that lines the pockets of our president and his billionaire cronies.

For the rest of us, the Golden Age is deeply tarnished.

It’s all a make-believe world in Donnie’s world.

First, There Was Faux

A faux “FIFA Peace Prize” for a man/child who started an illegal, catastrophic war on a whim, threatening to drop a nuclear bomb and annihilate a sovereign country that posed no threat. A needless war putting us in danger.

An “America First Award” to the toddler who has attacked our freedom of speech and civil rights. Who has ignored the real needs of his citizens, crying about affordability. The rising costs of food and fuel, the prohibitive health care costs, are pushing our families to the brink as he recklessly spends billions and billions of dollars overseas in his fever dream of a war.

But don’t worry, Donnie, Americans do come first.

The first to pay for his extravagant war, and the first to die in a war that didn’t have to happen.

Its all a fake, fun, pretend world for Donnie, but it’s a very real one he is destroying for us.

Donnie wants to play make-believe King.  But this is America, and the power belongs to WE the People

On March 28th, we show up together and say No Kings

This Saturday, make your voice heard. Join the millions who will march and use their voice at No Kings March.
