Breaking News! The Zodiac Killer’s dad helped Lee Harvey Oswald kill JFK!
Case Closed?

Rafael Cruz, Ted Cruz’s father is allegedly standing to the right of Lee Harvey Oswald in this 1963 photo, handing out pro Fidel Castro pamphlets in New Orleans months before the assassination of JFK. The man standing to the right of Oswald in this Warren Commission photo has never been officially identified.
In a campaign known for its truth is stranger than pop culture fiction moments, The Donald trumps it again.
Citing an article in a recent issue of “that paper of record” The National Enquirer, Trump suggests on Fox News that Rafael Cruz is connected to Lee Harvey Oswald in a possible conspiracy to assassinate President Kennedy.
Even Oliver Stone couldn’t make this stuff up!
I have not read it yet, but I know I will love it!

This election continues to find new levels of absurdity, no matter how head-shaking the previous moment was…

What the next few months will bring are frightening to speculate, especially now that Trump is the presumptive Republican candidate

Sally, there is ONE thing (t)Rump excels at that no one can question him about…
…TV, public speaking, and social-media comments of the HIGHEST dramatic value and fiction! After all, (t)Rump did indeed have his own sitcom: The Apprentice. He was the lead star! Remember?
Now his political savvy is an entirely different matter. 😛
However, about the candidate he is poorly attempting to smear, I have no “faith” in him at all either! (pun intended) Cruz is way too Christian Fundy-Evangy for my decadent pagan tastes. Cruz also continually quotes and implies poor, inaccurate, fabricated U.S. history — one of my pet-peaves.
A good funny laugh here Sally. Thank you. ❤

Just imagine for a second the Republican Convention, and the audience listening to the speeches nodding their head in complete disbelief…

Hahaha… and in utter total silence… like pin-drop silence!? And then… they all “Mooooo” like Bessie the Cow and walk in perfect syncronation through the corral shoot for de-worming? 😛
(a little Texas humour there; something we do here… cow follows cow that is)

Elizabeth Warren just wrote a succinct piece about Trump that bears reading in full:
“Donald Trump is now the leader of the Republican Party. It’s real – he is one step away from the White House. Here’s what else is real:
Trump has built his campaign on racism, sexism, and xenophobia. There’s more enthusiasm for him among leaders of the KKK than leaders of the political party he now controls.
He incites supporters to violence, praises Putin, and, according to a columnist who recently interviewed him, is “cool with being called an authoritarian” and doesn’t mind associations with history’s worst dictators.
He attacks veterans like John McCain who were captured and puts our servicemembers at risk by cheerleading illegal torture. In a world with ISIS militants and leaders like North Korean strongman Kim Jong-Un conducting nuclear tests, he surrounds himself with a foreign policy team that has been called a “collection of charlatans,” and puts out contradictory and nonsensical national security ideas one expert recently called “incoherent” and “truly bizarre.”
What happens next will test the character for all of us – Republican, Democrat, and Independent. It will determine whether we move forward as one nation or splinter at the hands of one man’s narcissism and divisiveness. I know which side I’m on, and I’m going to fight my heart out to make sure Donald Trump’s toxic stew of hatred and insecurity never reaches the White House.”

I assume this is the entire article Sally? If not, may I request the link please? 🙂
(t)Rump, his potential cabinet, and the sort of governing they’ll implement reminds me so much of the 1964 hit film “Dr. Strangelove“. That’s funny at first, sure, but then 30-seconds later I’m not laughing anymore…
I’m anxious as hell on the verge of a psychiatric meltdown thinking about it! 😮

That is her statement in its entirety it was posted on her FB page. I think many in our country are in the midst of serious nervous breakdown….

Agreed Sally. And if I can speak honestly and boldly, I foresee the very real possibility that (t)Rump, with his aggitating, arrogant, polarizing demeanor, will have a, or multiple, assassination attempts on him or one that succeeds — he simply incites those types of public and private rage.
Should all of this playout in the worst way, has (t)Rump chosen a running mate yet?

My mind has gone towards those sorts of possibilities as well,,,
