George Santos Should Be In The Doghouse

A guest post from my dog Stanley Katz.

A Canine Weighs In on the  Crises in Congress

Doggone it…George Santos has gone too far this time.

More interested in scoring my next treat, I generally tend to stay away from politics, but the latest ugly reveal of Santo’s sick behavior has hit too close to home for this dog. Of all his twisted schemes, cheating a disabled vet out of donated money to save his sick dog is as low as it gets. Georgie boy took the $3,000, fled and the poor dog died.

Unthinkable and unforgivable.

Santos should be in the dog house but there he sits in the House of Congress while his fellow  Republicans twiddle their thumbs.

Aren’t we all just dog-tired not only of all these lies but lack of action by lawmakers?

Sure, I know politics is a dog-eat-dog world where people will do anything to be successful even if it harms others.  Santos clearly wanted to run with the big dogs and would say and do anything to attain that power.

Santos is never going to change You can’t teach an old dog new tricks. If he can lie about his mother’s death, and completely fabricate his heritage, there is no falsehood he won’t tell.

He isn’t just sick-ish! He is pathological. Like a dog with a bone Santos just keeps digging in deeper refusing to reign or budge.

The change must come from us, there must be accountability and steps must be taken to remove this man from further mocking our system.

Remember- If you lie down with dogs you get up with fleas.

Every dog has its day and George Santos has had more than his three minutes of fame. Time is up.  This perpetual loser wanted to run with the big dogs to prove he was capable of running alongside top performers. Even if he had to scam his way to get there.

It’s time to hold him liable. Though he likes to present himself as the underdog, he is nothing but an unhinged scammer, a con artist, and a cheater. In other words, a  new Republican, where lying in pursuit of power is not only acceptable it’s the new norm.

It’s time the few remaining lawmakers with any sense of consciousness to end this public dog and pony show.

Speaker Kevin McCarthy so desperate for power seems to have adopted the attitude of just letting sleeping dogs lie, tolerating and excusing Santos’s behavior. But now it is time to stand up for what is right. Speak the truth about the lying fool.

And by the way, dogs -sleeping or otherwise- never lie.

Humans do.

And that’s the dog gone truth.

  1. He pretty much represents the low standard for the Republican Party candidates these days. How did such a conman-fraud convince his district to vote for him? It’s beyond my understanding.

If doing this to a dog isn’t sufficient enough to politically hang him with his leash, then nothing will happen.

If Santos were a Democrat he would already be gone. Being that there is a method to oust a President then surely there should be one for a Congressman. If not then a new law should be created now because if this fool has gotten this far more will follow.

  4. Scamming other people is one thing. Scamming a veteran trying to save a dog’s life is a whole other level of low. But then again scammers have no moral compass. Congratulations to Stanley for a well-pawed post. Does he have his own computer or did he dictate the piece to you?

It’s great that Stanley’s got his dander up over the Santos story. If any dog can spot a phony, his breed surely can and I’m sure if he were to be let loose in Congress he’d sniff out quite a few. It’s crazy that in the light of all the fakery, Santos can keep his seat. It wouldn’t happen in the canine world. No doghoouse would have him.
