Saigon or Minneapolis. Is this where we are today?
This morning, Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old American citizen, was executed on a Minneapolis street
Alex Pretti was an ICU nurse at the VA hospital who helped critically ill veterans.
Our vets. American soldiers.
This morning, he was shot and killed in Minneapolis by a group of Border Patrol agents after filming them.
He was executed in cold blood for no reason. He never brandished his legal gun at all.
He was disarmed.
Yet they murdered him.
They executed an unarmed man. We all saw it.
This is Donald Trump’s America.
This is not my America.
Who will be next?
We could all be Alex Pretti.

For us, the sane people of America and the world, it feels like a nightmare that never ends, but for Donny, this is just part of an evil plan: chaos, disruption, and then calling the military to take over the blue cities, invoking the insurrection act and canceling the elections.

“Dear God, what have we become?” You know what our country has become nationally and internationally and the names of those that brought us here. Their minions may hide behind masks, but their leaders can’t. They may try to hide later, but they been altogether quite happy to proclaim their deeds.

So many share your sentiments. We all know what we saw. We’ve all heard the Trump government lies. We alll know that the Minneapolis ICE protestors are non-violent.
We all know these masked men are Trump stormtroopers.
We all know that Trump lied about the immigration plot to flood the US with violent criminals and people “released from insane asylums.”
He lied that “they are eating our pets.”
He’s lied about everything.
He will lie about these murders. He warned us he believed he was so popular he could get away with murder.
What will it take to stop this insanity?

The gaslighting is off the charts. And frightening. We all saw what we saw and there is no disputing it. An eye witnesss even made an affidavit of her account to lock it down legally.

NYT and WaPo photo analysis is indisputable. Waiting to hear that ICE has placed the shooters on administrative leave pending an investigation. That would be immediate for any local or state law enforcement agency. It is how government assures all of us that public safety officers are not instinctive killers. In Trump’s DHS, the message now is get out of our way or we will unapologetically kill you. ICE officers who kill are treated like Jan 6 rioters.

Canadians are horrified. Alex Pretti was a hero. Let’s hope Americans can rise up and stop this catastrophe.

I can only imagine how Canadians and the rest of the world view what is going on here. We are horrified too. And terrified. We are rising up and I hope that continues and has some impact. This is not sustainable.
