On Sunday, the Christian faith’s holy day, the “Lord’s Day,” The President of the United States chose to post a picture of himself on Truth Social as a healing Jesus Christ.
Like most Sundays, Donald and Melania attended their favorite Church. Perhaps inspired by his pastor’s plea to the congregation to “be more like Jesus,” Donald took the sermon literally. He just forgot the parts about loving thy neighbor, healing the sick, and feeding the hungry.
Good Christian that he is, Donald spent the rest of the day on social media, first berating Pope Leo and then posting a blasphemous illustration of himself in flowing robes as a healing Jesus Christ. This is the same “Blessed be the Peacemaker” who, only a week ago, threatened the mass termination of an entire civilization.
Trump’s Christianity is as authentic as this AI-generated illustration.

Blasphemy! cry the Evangelical men and women of God along with the Christian Nationalist influencers. But who is saying that Jesus would not be bombing children’s schools and hospitals? What are we hearing about that? Holy sounds of silence.

I thought this image a hoax at first, but then I saw it on the NY Times. It is so frightening that not only is Trump comfortable with this image, but that his deranged fans are too. What a wild world this has become under such a narcissist. I am speechless…
