I can say with an absolute degree of certainty there will soon be a doctor in the House. The White House. And Dr. Jill Biden will bring brilliance and critical thinking back to “The People’s House.”
A highly offensive op-ed piece penned by Joseph Epstein in the Wall Street Journal questioning Dr. Jill Biden’s educational credentials has caused a firestorm of outrage. Not only does this fossil refer to the future first lady as “Kiddo,” his sexism fairly drips from the page, writing:
Dr. Jill Biden ” sounds and feels fraudulent, not to say a touch comic. Your degree is, I believe, an Ed.D., a doctor of education, earned at the University of Delaware through a dissertation with the unpromising title “Student Retention at the Community College Level: Meeting Students’ Needs.” A wise man once said that no one should call himself “Dr.” unless he has delivered a child. Think about it, Dr. Jill, and forthwith drop the doc.
Fraudulent? Comic? What is comic is that this was written by an embittered man who holds an honorary doctorate, unlike Jill Biden who spent 15 years of hard work while helping raise a family to EARN a doctorate!
Although I don’t have a doctorate in paleontology kiddo, I can still identify a dinosaur when I see one.
I can’t begin to tell you the degree with which I am enraged!
A Prescription For Trouble
I may not be a “real” doctor, the kind who wears a stethoscope around my neck but I can diagnose an acute case of misogyny if ever there was one.
Clearly, Joseph Epstein suffers from late stage “Entitled White Male Syndrome.” Characterized by extreme fragility of the ego, heightened levels of sexism along with alarmingly low testosterone levels, there is the telltale wheezing, and gasping for their last breath of power and authority. Sufferers often carry the male chauvinistic virus for decades making it resistant to treatment.
The condition is exacerbated by a heightened fear of losing white male privileges and power.
This virulent strain of misogyny and hate has run rampant in the four years of the Trump administration unchecked. Donald Trump, a known carrier of the disease has shed this dangerous virus wherever he goes.
And by the way, despite being a doctor, I am certain that Jill Biden will nurse this country back to health!

Sally, what on earth was this man thinking? He could not have done worse by just taking a gun out and shooting himself in the foot. He offended Dr. Biden, women and any person who studied and got a Ph.D. If his goal was to help America celebrate that Dr. Jill Biden is a smart woman, then he accomplished that. I’m guessing that Mr. Epstein’s op-ed was emboldened either by the current occupant of the White House saying that suburban housewives should thank him for sending their husbands back to work or because he doesn’t have any accomplished women in his own family and therefore can’t identify. Either way, all he managed to do was offend Jill Biden and any woman or person who has worked to obtain doctorate credentials. Bad move Mr. Epstein and a bit of a black eye as well to the WSJ for publishing it.

I have not read anyone more eloquently giving this knuckle-dragger his much deserved comeuppance. Great illustration, as usual. You go, Sally. Way to give it to this numbskull. If he is single, he has done at least one woman in this world an enormous favor.

Thanks. This long past his prime cretin has a long history of writing sexist and homophobic material. He’s a horror who deserves all the backlash he’s getting Northwestern acted swiftly and dumped him.
